You need to know the following before booking Mercury Bar
• Mercury Bar is a licensed premises and every person in Mercury Bar must be 18+ with ID.
• Mercury Bar is a small intimate venue with a license to hold a maximum of 80 people.
The $300 deposit is redeemable on the night of the function or party in the form of a bar tab or towards food, music or security. After the $300 has been used you can top the bar tab up during the night with as much or as little as you like or even stop the bar tab after it has been spent. Mercury Bar cannot offer discounted or reduced price drinks during functions.

Mooseheads is located in the Sydney Building, on London Circuit in the central Canberra region of Civic. Mooseheads claims to be the longest-established bar and night club in Civic.
Mooseheads was opened in September 1990, making it one of the longest-running nightclubs in Civic. The premises contains 4 levels, including one below street level. This basement level has long been a popular venue for University and ADFA students, and contains a pool table. The street level contains a pool table and several televisions, and is open every day except Sunday. During the day, the kitchen serves classic pub food including steaks, fish and chips and pizza.
The two levels above the street comprise the nightclub, and are only open on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 9 PM. The first floor holds the dance floor and the DJ Booth. There is a cover charge of $5 to get in to the nightclub on Saturday nights. Mooseheads is very popular with ADFA and ANU students.
Currently, on Friday nights, Mooseheads has live bands playing on the street level from the late afternoon, which often attracts a crowd of Canberra’s many public servants.

Established in 1976, the Soul Bar has long been part of Canberra’a pub scene, and today stands as the only pub still remaining in the Woden area.
The pub has recently undergone a change in management, and is now run by former professional footballer Alan Strachan and his family.
Well known in local football circles, Alan came to Canberra in 1988 to compete in the NSL, having previously played in the Scottish Football League with Dundee United, Raith Rovers and Arbroath. He also represented Scotland at schoolboy level.
Alan and his team have already brought the soul back to the bar, by creating a warm, friendly personable atmosphere that makes everyone welcome.

The Club was officially registered as an incorporated association in 1975 and in 1982 moved to its own premises at Oatley Court, Belconnen ACT. It moved to its present location at 6 Parkinson Street, Weston in 1986.
The Club has just been completely refurnished and looks great. Food Service is now done in-house and we are developing a new menu. The focus will be on pub-style food with a touch of Irish from our newly named, Molly Bloom's Kitchen, though we're also taking advantage of our Chef's expertise to include some great dishes from his Fijian homeland.
